At 10:00 am today, July 24, 2025, Cristian M. Stevens was sworn in by Chief Judge Stephen R. Clark as the Eastern District’s newest United States District Judge. Judge Stevens served in a variety of roles in both the public and private sector, most recently as Judge on the Missouri Court of Appeals, with prior service as an Assistant United States Attorney and as the First Assistant Attorney General in the Missouri Attorney General’s Office. He was appointed to the Missouri Court of Appeals in October 2021.
