US District Court - Eastern Missouri Lifts Masking Requirement for Vaccinated Persons in Common Areas; Allows Each Entity to Establish Requirements in its Own Space

Friday, June 25, 2021

Chief Judge Rodney W. Sippel has entered an Order permitting vaccinated persons to remove masks while in common areas of all Eastern District courthouses. As has been the case previously, each Court or agency may also establish masking or social distancing requirements as needed within their own space. Persons entering must still answer health screening questions and take their temperature upon entering.  Persons not consenting to or not able to meet the requirements for entry may continue to contact the court or agency with whom they are doing business to arrange for remote business options. A full copy of the new Order can be found here.  Information on all of the District Court’s COVID protocols can be found on the Court’s COVID Information Center here.
