U.S. District Court - Eastern MO Publishes Revised Case Operations and Building Entry Standards

Today Chief Judge Rodney W. Sippel signed the following Order extending authorization for remote hearings whenever possible for 90 days, unless otherwise directed by a Judge in a particular case. This authorization is for all proceedings including criminal, civil, and ADR. The Court’s previous Order postponing jury trials until no earlier than July 6 was also reaffirmed. Chief Judge Sippel also signed the following Order regarding building entry. The Order states that building entry in all Courthouses remains limited to persons required or specifically authorized to appear in person by a Judge or agency head, and sets forth protective distancing measures for persons in all Courthouses.
