Open Doors

The U. S. District Court sponsors yearly “Open Doors to Federal Courts” programs for junior and senior high school students. These programs, which are held every November, provide a unique opportunity for students and teachers to interact with federal judges, lawyers, and court staff in simulated courtroom procedures, such as mock jury trials and moot court hearings. These events provide an exciting opportunity for students to learn more about the role and function of the federal courts. For more information about the District Court’s “Open Doors to Federal Courts” programs, please contact Jeanne Pattrin, Community Outreach Coordinator at 314-244-7913, or e-mail at jeanne_pattrin@moed.uscourts.gov.
